The Gästehaus Guggenberger is a family-run hotel near Munich. Our rural location is ideal if you want to relax but still like to be close to the city. The Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, is a mere 20 km away or around 45 minutes by the S-Bahn (local railway). If you go south, you will reach the Alps just as quickly. Whether you want to recuperate on your holiday, or if you are a business person, a visitor to a trade fair or a craftsman, you can be sure of finding the right spot with us.

Visit the Bavarian lakes of Schliersee, Tegernsee and Chiemsee, including Ludwig II’s castle of Herrenchiemsee and the Fraueninsel with its basilica. Hike over the nearby mountains such as Brauneck and Wendelstein or discover the mountains around Garmisch. Fantastic cycle tours to Wasserburg, Aying or into the city centre of Munich start directly outside our front door.
